Who better to mentor leaders than another successful leader?
Executives are not always able to access the mentoring and support we need in our immediate organizational or professional environment. This is especially true if we find ourselves working towards progressive organizational transformation… against a tide of tradition.
In seeking mentors, it can be difficult to find those who have achieved equivalent levels of success, while successfully managing equivalent levels of stress.
I understand how leadership challenges, pressures, and environments, can impact and even impede us, undermining our skills and success as executives.
As organizations’ investments grow to ensure mentally healthy and neuroinclusive environments, leaders need to be on the frontline of that transformation, leading by example.
This very personal growth process is facilitated when supported and mentored by someone who understands the challenges, experiences, and perspectives of executive leadership.
More importantly, we need our mentors to have the mindset and resources to help us achieve healthy growth.
Healthy Growth
In addition to my executive leadership experience, I have the growth experiences of a lifetime of mental health and neurodivergence challenges – and successes.
Everything I have accomplished has been done in the context of surviving domestic violence, cancer, and suicidality while living with various mental health and neurodivergence diagnoses; including Complex PTSD and VAST.
As a result, I have acquired insight, expertise, and a rich catalogue of evidence-based tools and resources supporting healthy personal, professional, and leadership growth.
Who better to support leaders in healthy growth and development than another successful healthy leader that can provide the mindset, resources and experience needed?
Lived Expertise Advantage
I work with leaders in public and private organizations to reach their personal and professional goals.
I draw from my own challenges, accomplishments, and mental health background to build empathy, connection, and trust – so my clients achieve the transformative results they seek.
I help leaders to examine their perspectives, experiences, challenges, successes, and their resulting leadership narratives. I help them identify how this story shapes them, and their current challenges and goals.
I empower them to explore alternate narrative perspectives from which to draw inspiration for new directions and levels of success.
To do this, I provide them with tools for their personal growth; whether that is emotional intelligence and positive psychology resources, or empowering mental health and neurodivergence therapeutic models, including peer support.
